Greeley council approves state supportive-housing grant agreement
The Greeley City Council voted Tuesday to approve a grant agreement with the Colorado Department of Local Affairs to receive funding through the Supportive Housing for Olmstead Advancement Program. The action came as part of the council’s consent agenda, with Item 12 included among the measures approved after Councilmember Craig Huddleston asked to pull a different item, Item 13, for separate consideration.
The resolution authorizes the city to enter into the state grant agreement. City staff recommended approval of the measure.
During the consent agenda portion of the meeting, Ward III Councilmember Johnny Olson asked whether any members wanted to remove an item for separate discussion. Huddleston requested that Item 13, related to a legal-services work order, be pulled. The remaining consent items, including the Olmstead supportive-housing grant agreement, then moved forward together.
The agenda described Item 12 as a resolution authorizing a grant agreement with the state Department of Local Affairs to receive grant funds through the supportive housing program.
