Greeley council approves state behavioral-health grant agreement for peace officers
The Greeley City Council voted Tuesday to approve a resolution authorizing the city to enter into a grant agreement with the Colorado Division of Local Affairs for funding through the Peace Officer Behavioral Health Support and Community Partnership Grant Program.
The action came as part of the council's consent agenda under Item 11. The resolution allows the city to receive state grant funding tied to behavioral-health support and community partnerships connected to peace officers.
Before the consent agenda was taken up, Council Member Deb DeBoutez read Item 11 into the record and said the recommended action was to adopt the resolution. No separate council discussion on the item was recorded during the meeting excerpt before the consent agenda moved forward.
