Veterans Day proclamation honors service

Weld County proclaimed Veterans Day for Nov. 11, 2026, honoring veterans and their families for their service and sacrifices. The proclamation says the Weld County Veterans Service Office provides free help navigating VA benefits, including disability compensation, pensions, burial and survivor benefits, and points to job and training opportunities at the Weld County Workforce Center. The proclamation says Weld County planned to illuminate the historic courthouse green from Nov. 4 through Nov. 11 for Operation Greenlight, as a demonstration of appreciation and continued support for veterans.
