Wellington Indoor Playground Offers Free Admission to Veterans November 10

Lil Monsters Playground in Wellington will offer free admission to veterans November 10 in recognition of Veterans Day.

The indoor play facility announced the promotion November 9, noting it chose to celebrate early since the business is closed Tuesdays. The official Veterans Day holiday falls on November 11 this year.

Lil Monsters Playground recently installed a Little Free Library at its Wellington location, offering families free book exchanges and discounted admission for book donations.

The Veterans Day recognition joins similar initiatives across Northern Colorado. Fort Collins administrative offices close November 11 for the federal holiday, while Greeley city buildings also shut down with emergency services remaining operational.

The state defines veterans as individuals who served in the U.S. Armed Forces and received discharge under conditions other than dishonorable, aligning with federal Department of Veterans Affairs standards.

Veterans and active military personnel receive free entry to all Colorado state parks November 11, including local facilities such as Boyd Lake and Lory State Park.
