Greeley City Council authorizes city attorney to finalize documents for recent actions
The Greeley City Council voted 6-0 Tuesday to authorize the city attorney to prepare any required resolutions, agreements and ordinances to carry out actions taken at that meeting and at previous meetings. The motion also authorized Mayor Dale Hall and the city clerk to sign those documents.
Hall introduced the measure as Item 22 near the end of the meeting and called for a motion. Ward II Council Member Deb DeBoutez made the motion, and Ward IV Council Member Brian Rudy provided the second.
The council approved the item by voice vote without discussion. The motion serves as the council’s standard wrap-up action to formalize decisions already made by putting them into the necessary legal documents for execution.
