Respiratory illness hospitalizations in Larimer County remain very low, with just three total hospitalizations reported for the most recent week of the 2025–26 season (week ending January 11). COVID-19, influenza, and RSV each accounted for only one new hospitalization, suggesting a relatively calm stretch in local severe respiratory illness so far in mid-January.

Emergency department data through January 14 show modest levels of respiratory symptoms: influenza-like illness made up a small share of ER visits, and COVID-19 and RSV visits also remained low. Seniors continue to be the group most affected by serious illness this season, particularly from influenza and COVID-19, though January hospitalizations among older adults are currently in the single digits for COVID and under 20 for flu.
