Fort Collins City Offices to Close for Thanksgiving Holiday

Fort Collins administrative offices will close November 27 and November 28 for Thanksgiving, while most recreation facilities remain open and essential services continue normal operations.

All city offices will close both days. The Gardens on Spring Creek, all recreation facilities, all golf courses and the Museum of Discovery will be closed November 27. Fire, police and utility departments will maintain regular operations throughout the holiday period.

Transfort will operate on a holiday service schedule November 27.

Recreation Facilities Resume Operations November 28

Several major recreation facilities will reopen November 28 with regular hours. Transfort operations, the Museum of Discovery, EPIC and Northside Aztlan Community Center will operate on standard schedules.

The Fort Collins Senior Center will open only for the Holiday Artisan Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. November 28. All other recreation facilities and the Gardens on Spring Creek will remain closed that day.

EPIC, Foothills Activity Center, The Farm, Mulberry Pool, Northside Aztlan Community Center and the Fort Collins Senior Center will close at 2 p.m. November 26, the day before Thanksgiving.

Regional Municipalities Follow Similar Holiday Protocols

The Fort Collins closure schedule mirrors practices at other Northern Colorado municipalities. Greeley announced November 12 that administrative buildings will close both November 27 and November 28, with police and fire departments maintaining regular operations.

Greeley recreation facilities will remain closed November 27 but reopen with modified hours November 28. Greeley-Evans Transit will not operate November 27 and will resume regular service November 29.

Fort Collins administrative offices closed November 11 for Veterans Day while recreation facilities and essential services continued normal operations.

All Fort Collins administrative offices will reopen with standard schedules December 2.
