2027 request lists about $157.4 million in revenue

Fort Lupton presented its 2027 requested budget at the Oct. 6, 2026, council meeting. The request lists total revenue of $157,386,140.00, total expenses of $93,393,092.00 and a report total of $63,993,048.00. Compared with the 2026 approved budget, requested revenue is $31,197,394.46 (16.54%) lower and requested expenses are $22,643,015.66 (19.51%) lower. The request includes a six-year capital improvement program; council was scheduled to review and amend it at 8:00 am, October 17, 2026, in the council chambers at 130 S McKinley Avenue, Fort Lupton, CO 80621.
