Estes Park delays childcare master plan discussion to July 14 after consultant connection problems

Discussion of the Estes Valley Childcare Facility Master Plan was postponed Tuesday after technical problems prevented consultants from joining the Estes Park Town Board meeting. The item, listed as Reports and Discussion Item 2, is now set to return on July 14.

Trustee Mark Igel told the board that anyone attending for the childcare master plan item should expect it to be continued because staff were "having technical difficulties with getting the consultants on the line." He said the board would be asked to take up the item on July 14 instead, when the consultants could participate.

Mayor Gary Hall then confirmed the change, asking whether Item 2 under reports and discussion would not happen that night. Igel replied, "Correct. Item 2, Estes Valley Child Care Facility Master Plan, under reports and discussion will not take place."

The postponement came at the start of the board's reports and discussion portion, before the meeting moved on to the consent agenda.
