Food Bank for Larimer County Adjusts Mobile Market Schedule for Thanksgiving Week
The Food Bank for Larimer County announced schedule changes to its mobile food distribution sites during Thanksgiving week, with two locations remaining open on weekend dates and one closing for the holiday.
Grace Place in Berthoud will operate on Saturday, November 22, and Foothills Unitarian Church in Fort Collins will serve clients on Sunday, November 23. The mobile market at Poudre High School will be closed on Thursday, November 27, for Thanksgiving Day.
The organization operates three mobile market locations throughout Larimer County to reach residents who face transportation challenges or live in areas distant from the Food Bank's two permanent pantry locations. Grace Place typically operates on the second and fourth Saturday of each month in Berthoud, while Foothills Unitarian Church and Poudre High School follow rotating schedules published on the organization's Food Finder Map.
The Food Bank for Larimer County was established in 1984 and serves exclusively Larimer County residents, requiring proof of county residency to access services. The organization distributed over 10.2 million meals and snacks through all its combined programs during its most recent reporting year, according to financial documents.
