Fort Collins Coffeehouse Debuts November Seasonal Drinks and New Photography Exhibit
Fort Collins Coffeehouse has introduced four seasonal beverages for November and unveiled a new art exhibition featuring black and white photography, according to a November 17 announcement.
The coffeehouse, located at 1033 South Taft Hill Road, is showcasing work from local photographers who are displaying their interpretations of beauty through monochromatic imagery. All proceeds from art sales go directly to the artists, with no commission retained by the venue.
The November drink menu includes the Harvest Moon Cider, made with Happy Lucky's tea steeped in apple cider and containing no caffeine. Other seasonal offerings feature holiday flavors including the CheggNog, combining Bhakti Spicy Chai with eggnog, and the Grateful Maple Latte, which incorporates maple syrup and toasted marshmallow flavors.
The business has been serving the Fort Collins community since its founding as Mugs Fort Collins in August 2002, when it became the city's first wireless internet café. The family-owned establishment has maintained its focus on community engagement throughout its history.
Fort Collins Coffeehouse will host its annual Artisan Fair on December 4 and 5, featuring locally made handcrafted items and live music. The event is part of a broader tradition of artisan markets in Fort Collins that provide sales opportunities for local makers and crafters.
Similar community-focused initiatives have appeared at other Northern Colorado venues recently. A Loveland cafe launched a quarterly artist display program in November, offering local creators a rotating exhibition space.
Artisan fairs and maker markets contribute significantly to Fort Collins' small business ecosystem by providing low-cost entry points for emerging businesses to connect with customers. The Fort Collins Farmers Market, the city's largest such venue, generates hundreds of thousands of dollars in vendor sales annually during its May through October season, according to city economic development data.
The December artisan fair will join other holiday season programming across Northern Colorado, including New Belgium Brewing's candle-making workshop scheduled for December 12.
The current photography exhibition at Fort Collins Coffeehouse is available for viewing during regular business hours. Information about participating artists and available works can be obtained at the coffeehouse.
