A Thai restaurant called Three Dragon Thai is preparing to move into 6324 S College Ave in Fort Collins, according to a sign permit filed with the city.

The business will occupy the space formerly home to The Taco Stop, a Mexican restaurant. The sign permit was filed by NOCO FOCO SIGNS, LLC, which operates as Signarama Fort Collins, a commercial signage franchise with offices at 1600 E Mulberry St.

Kristi Jenkins-Correa submitted the permit application on behalf of the sign company. The permit indicates exterior signage installation for the Thai restaurant at the South College Avenue property.

The South College Avenue corridor serves as a major commercial strip in Fort Collins, featuring a mix of restaurants, retail businesses and service providers. The address sits along one of the primary north-south arterials through the southern part of the city.

The Taco Stop opened at 6324 S College Ave after operating for years as a food truck starting in 2012, according to the restaurant's published history. It later moved to a new location on S Lemay Ave.

Recent months have seen several new restaurant concepts announced in Fort Collins commercial districts. Japon Express filed permits for a location at 931 E Harmony Road in October, while Milkshake Factory announced plans for a downtown space at 150 N College Ave.

No opening date for Three Dragon Thai has been announced. The sign permit remains in processing with the city's building department.
