The Thompson School District Board of Education approved an organizational chart Oct. 21 that no longer recognizes a director of professional development or a director of equity, diversity.

The district’s board briefing memorandum says the chart needed revisions because the positions were eliminated for the 2026-27 school year. “It’s been incorporated in other areas of the organization,” a staff member told the board of the work once done by those positions.

The revised policy will be updated on the district’s website. The organizational chart will be reviewed annually after the start of each school year.
