Greeley authorizes Halligan legal action

The resolution authorizes Greeley’s City Attorney to bring legal action related to the Halligan Water Supply Project and actions or final decisions by the Colorado Water Quality Control Commission. The action may include an appeal or a request for injunctive relief, monetary damages or other necessary and appropriate remedies; the resolution also permits other steps reasonably necessary to protect Greeley’s interests and ratifies prior staff and counsel actions associated with the matter. It took effect immediately.

Adopted with the consent agenda (carried, 7-0).
