Weld County marks planning month

A proclamation read into the record designated October 2026 as National Community Planning Month and expressed the board’s gratitude to Weld County Planning Commission members and planning staff. The proclamation said comprehensive planning, development review and collaboration with local communities guide responsible growth in unincorporated areas, while public participation gives residents, businesses and property owners an opportunity to provide input on Weld County’s future. Planning Services Director David Eisenbrown said county planners serve the public, preserve private property rights and protect the county’s agricultural history and roots.
