Windsor Lake Road land and easement accepted

From the Windsor Town Board meeting of

The town accepted right-of-way dedications from Jason R. Leingang and Frank J. and Laurel L. Kubin for Windsor Lake Road, planned to connect Hollister Lake Road to Weld County Road 15 along the former Weld County Road 70 route. Leingang’s deed conveys a 30-foot-wide strip of 7,389 sq. ft. for $3,805.00; the Kubins’ deed conveys a 30-foot-wide strip of 6,394 sq. ft. for $3,293.00. The town also accepted the Kubins’ temporary construction easement over a 20-foot-wide area of 4,307 sq. ft. for $2,218.00, allowing construction of roadway, utilities, drainage and related improvements, and access across adjacent property as reasonably necessary. The easement ends when all town work there, including surface revegetation or reclamation, is complete or December 31, 2030, whichever comes first; Windsor must restore the area as near as reasonably practicable to its prior condition. The resolution authorizes the mayor to execute the dedications and easement.

Adopted with the consent agenda (carried).
