An online portal will soon let residents, vendors and developers apply and pay online for permits, licenses and special events, and submit complaints and track code enforcement cases. Its first round of applications will include business, food truck and contractor licenses, a special event license, code enforcement cases, landscaping and fence permits, and general inquiries about planning, building, parks and finance; future updates will add applications for a range of town services. The report says it will no longer provide specific development-case details in its updates; residents can find case information and sign up for email updates on the Town website, and use the Development Projects Map to see newly filed applications.
