Paycheck concern and town events

Matthew Fries said his paycheck had been messed up again, was missing a zero and needed to be corrected right away. L said the Glow Run at the baseball fields the previous Friday drew over 250 runners; community partners attended, Great Western Trail homeowners supported runners with lights and music, and the town appreciated its partnership with Miles Beyond Running Club. L said the Bubble Party for America at Blue Spruce drew over 90 children and was considered a success, marking the town’s first event of that kind celebrating the Constitution. L said a skate competition was scheduled for the coming Saturday morning; the October 3 neighborhood concert at Overlook Park would begin festivities at 2 o’clock with vendors and children’s games, with main acts at 6 p.m., including Audrey Dale and a band L thought was called the Eli Band. L said Coffee with a Cop was scheduled for October 7, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Clearview Library, and a Town Projects and Budget Town Hall for October 13 at 6 p.m.; the community tree cleanup was planned for October 17 behind Community Park, with a map and details online. L said events were listed on the town website, nominations were open for Citizen, Youth and Business of the Year, and the town photo contest was underway with information online.
