Fort Collins City Councilmember Melanie Potyondy will host an informal listening session February 7 at Harmony Library, letting south-side residents air traffic, construction and growth concerns reshaping the neighborhood.

The session runs 9:30–10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 7, at Harmony Library Community Room, 4616 S. Shields St. "All residents are invited to attend and share ideas about the issues facing Fort Collins," according to a city announcement published January 29.

The $12–14 million College & Trilby Intersection Improvements project closed Trilby at College through Spring 2026, pushing traffic onto Shields and Harmony—the same roads serving the library. The Power Trail Underpass project, which began in November 2025, will bring lane shifts and closures on Harmony through Spring 2027, further restricting access near the library.

The session follows the Shields Street Transportation Improvements neighborhood meeting held January 22 and precedes the City's Annual Transportation Projects Fair scheduled for February 6, with exhibits running through February 8.

Unlike formal city meetings, Potyondy's session is unstructured—no formal agenda or time limits.
