Mostly Sunny in Fort Collins Today, But Snow Possible By Friday

Tuesday will bring mostly sunny skies to Fort Collins with a high near 50 degrees. West northwest winds will gust up to 21 mph, creating breezy conditions throughout the day. Temperatures will fall to around 45 degrees in the afternoon, and precipitation chances remain minimal at just 2 percent. It's a pleasant day for outdoor activities despite the gusty winds.

The extended forecast shows generally dry conditions through Thursday. Wednesday will be sunny with a high near 48 degrees and calm winds. Thursday continues mostly sunny with highs around 44 degrees. However, a weather pattern change arrives Friday when a slight chance of light snow develops after 11 a.m., with only a 19 percent precipitation chance and highs dropping to 26 degrees.

The weekend looks partly cloudy to sunny with gradually warming temperatures. Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high near 36 degrees, followed by Sunday climbing to 47 degrees under sunny skies. Monday rounds out the extended forecast with mostly sunny conditions and a high near 53 degrees, suggesting a warming trend into next week.
