Daytime lane closures are coming to South Lemay Avenue between East Horsetooth and East Harmony roads the week of Jan. 19-23 for three to four weeks. The work marks the first phase of a larger corridor rebuild continuing through 2026.

Work is scheduled 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, but work may extend into evenings and weekends to speed up repairs. "Lane closures will be in effect during construction and drivers should be aware of changing traffic patterns. Access to businesses will be maintained," the city announced.

South Lemay is a main corridor serving south Fort Collins' medical offices, retail businesses, and residential neighborhoods. Drivers should expect delays affecting medical appointments, school commutes, and midday shopping trips during the 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. closure window.

Utility work and pavement resurfacing will follow later in 2026, completing the full corridor rebuild.
