Sunny and Warm Tuesday in Fort Collins, But Snow Expected Later This Week

Tuesday will bring sunshine and pleasant conditions to Fort Collins, with highs near 58 degrees and westerly winds between 8 to 16 mph gusting to 25 mph. Precipitation chances remain virtually nonexistent at just 1 percent. Overnight, temperatures will drop to around 26 degrees under mostly clear skies with light winds.

Wednesday continues the pleasant trend with mostly sunny skies and highs near 56 degrees before conditions deteriorate. Snow becomes likely Thursday, with a 60 percent chance of light snow accumulation and temperatures falling to 45 degrees. Wednesday night into Thursday morning, a 40 percent chance of light snow develops, with less than half an inch of accumulation possible.

The weekend improves significantly. Friday brings sunny skies with highs near 38 degrees before temperatures rebound to 48 degrees Saturday and 54 degrees Sunday under mostly sunny conditions. Next week maintains this pattern, with highs in the low to mid-50s and mostly sunny skies continuing into Monday. Overall, Fort Collins residents should enjoy excellent conditions now, prepare for brief snow Thursday, then expect a return to pleasant weather through the following week.
