Mostly Sunny in Fort Collins Today, But Snow Possible by Week's End

Saturday will bring pleasant weather to Fort Collins with mostly sunny skies and a high near 58 degrees. Light south winds around 5 mph will keep conditions comfortable throughout the day. Precipitation chances remain minimal at just 1 percent, making it an ideal day for outdoor activities. Overnight lows will dip to around 31 degrees under mostly cloudy skies.

The extended forecast shows a warming trend continuing through early next week. Sunday will be the warmest day of the period with highs reaching 64 degrees and mostly sunny skies, though west-southwest winds could gust as high as 17 mph. Monday and Tuesday will remain pleasant with highs near 58 and 55 degrees respectively, with mostly sunny conditions persisting and minimal precipitation chances.

A winter weather system will approach late in the week. Wednesday stays mild with highs around 53 degrees, but snow becomes possible Wednesday night with a 21 percent precipitation chance. Thursday brings the highest chance of precipitation with 34 percent odds of light snow and highs only reaching 42 degrees. Friday will see gradually improving conditions with a slight chance of snow and highs near 36 degrees.
