Mild Conditions Today in Fort Collins, But Snow Possible by Week's End

This afternoon will bring mostly cloudy skies and mild temperatures to Fort Collins. The high will reach 60 degrees with west northwest winds gusting up to 24 mph. Precipitation chances remain negligible at just 3 percent. Overnight, temperatures will drop to around 30 degrees under partly cloudy skies with minimal wind.

The weekend looks pleasant with mostly sunny skies Saturday and Sunday. Saturday's high will near 57 degrees, while Sunday warms to 63 degrees with westerly winds gusting to 25 mph. Both days will see virtually no precipitation. Lows will dip to around 31 degrees each night.

The extended forecast shows mostly sunny conditions Monday through Wednesday, with highs in the 50s. However, precipitation chances increase Thursday as a system approaches. Thursday brings a 25 percent chance of light snow with a high near 45 degrees. Light snow continues Thursday night with accumulation under one inch possible. Temperatures will remain cool, with overnight lows in the upper 20s through midweek.
