AKA Kitchen, a Loveland restaurant known for its New American cuisine and brunch offerings, will close for Thanksgiving on November 27 and offer three days of holiday promotions over the following weekend.

The restaurant will provide a complimentary bottle of champagne with any regular brunch entree purchase on November 28, according to its holiday schedule announcement. The promotion marks the Black Friday shopping day.

On November 29, AKA Kitchen will participate in Small Business Saturday by offering 15 percent off total bills to customers who present proof of purchase from any Loveland small business. The national shopping initiative, established by American Express in 2010 and cosponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration since 2011, encourages consumers to support locally owned businesses on the Saturday following Thanksgiving, according to the SBA.

The weekend promotions conclude November 30 with a free Rock Coast beer included with the purchase of any regular entree. AKA Kitchen operates alongside Rock Coast Brewery in a historic building on Loveland's restaurant corridor.

The restaurant specializes in locally and ethically sourced ingredients and earned recognition as the number two brunch destination in Loveland by the Reporter Herald. Its menu features American classics including burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, and salads alongside its signature brunch items.

According to American Express data, U.S. consumers have spent over $200 billion at small businesses on Small Business Saturday since 2012. The Loveland Chamber of Commerce and regional business associations actively promote the event throughout Northern Colorado.

AKA Kitchen's weekend specials align with broader participation in Small Business Saturday across Loveland, where merchants and restaurants traditionally create special offers to support the shop-local initiative during the holiday shopping season.
