Foothills Mall Hosts Weekend Markets and Holiday Events November 22-23
Fort Collins residents can explore local vendors and seasonal activities at Foothills Mall this weekend, with multiple community events scheduled for November 22 and 23.
The weekend kicks off November 22 with the Winter Farmers Market from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, featuring produce and artisanal goods from local producers. The Fort Collins Farmers Market operates this winter session at Foothills Mall from November through April, providing year-round access to regional food and craft vendors, according to Downtown Fort Collins Creative District market listings.
The mall's holiday tree lighting ceremony takes place November 22 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Foothills Mall launched its holiday event series November 22 with activities including Santa photos and carriage rides continuing through December.
November 23 brings the Makers Hive Market from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, showcasing handmade goods from local artisans and crafters. SMOK Fort Collins will broadcast football games throughout the day November 23.
The Foothills shopping district opened in 1973 as Foothills Fashion Mall and occupies 63 acres at 215 Foothills Parkway, according to property records. The 662,000-square-foot retail center is owned by a partnership between McWhinney and Prism Places, with the City of Fort Collins owning the Foothills Activity Center on the property.
The Fort Collins Farmers Market operates its primary season twice weekly from May through October at its Harmony Road location with over 30 vendors before moving to the winter indoor venue at Foothills Mall.
