The Fort Collins Museum of Discovery has opened early enrollment for its Adventures in Technology School Day Out camp scheduled for January 5, 2026.

Museum members gained access to registration on November 21, with general public enrollment opening November 28. The single-day camp serves students in first through fifth grades during the winter school break.

The technology-focused program is part of FCMoD's broader School Day Out camp series, which provides hands-on science and cultural exploration activities on school holidays and professional development days. The camps offer full access to museum exhibits along with specialized workshops and experimental activities.

Museum members receive a 10 percent discount on all camp programs. Annual membership tiers range from $70 for individual memberships to $170 for Family Plus memberships, which admit two adults, their children, and two additional guests. All membership levels include free year-round museum admission, priority registration for camps and events, and reciprocal admission to hundreds of science centers nationwide through the ASTC Travel Passport Program.

The museum plans to announce seasonal membership promotions between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, according to the announcement. In previous years, these holiday sales have included discounts of $10 to $20 per membership tier or added guest passes.

FCMoD opened in November 2012 as a merger between the City of Fort Collins Museum and the Discovery Science Center. The facility at 408 Mason Court provides over 400 unique science and culture-based programs annually, including summer camps, youth workshops, and presentations in the OtterBox Digital Dome Theater.

Registration information and camp details are available on the museum's website.
