Loveland Gelato Shop Sponsors Windsor High School Theatre Production
A Loveland gelato shop donated proceeds from its sales to support Windsor High School Theatre's recent production of "She Kills Monsters," adding to the business's track record of backing local student programs.
Paciugo Gelato & Coffee, located in The Promenade Shops at Centerra, served as a sponsor for the Windsor High production staged this month. The shop dedicated a portion of gelato sales to the theater program, following a fundraising model the business has used previously for local nonprofits and school activities.
"She Kills Monsters," written by Qui Nguyen, is a dramatic comedy about a teenager who discovers her late sister's Dungeons & Dragons game and embarks on a fantasy quest to understand her sibling's inner world. The play blends grief, geek culture, and fantastical battles with ogres and fairies.
Windsor High School Theatre typically produces multiple full-length plays and musicals each year, relying on ticket sales, school district funding, and business sponsorships to cover production costs. Theater programs in the region often seek between $3,000 and $7,000 in outside support per major production to pay for set construction, costumes, licensing fees, and technical equipment.
Since opening in early 2022, Paciugo has participated in Loveland Chamber of Commerce events and contributed to local fundraisers through donation drives and designated sales days. Previous beneficiaries have included Larimer Humane Society and family assistance organizations, according to local business event listings.
The Loveland franchise operates under a national gelato brand known for authentic Italian-style frozen desserts and espresso beverages. The shop's fundraising approach allows customers to support local causes simply by making purchases during designated hours, with the business donating a percentage of proceeds directly to the chosen organization.
Paciugo Gelato & Coffee is located at 5915 Sky Pond Drive in Loveland.
