Philippe French Bistro Launches New Happy Hour in Downtown Fort Collins
Philippe French Bistro will introduce a new happy hour program beginning November 20, offering discounts on cocktails, wine and small plates to downtown Fort Collins diners.
The French bistro will host happy hour from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, with all-day happy hour pricing available on Sundays. The promotion includes deals on the restaurant's cocktails, wine selection and small bites menu.
Philippe French Bistro opened in downtown Fort Collins in summer 2022, according to business records. The restaurant is owned and operated by Chef Philippe Boutinet, who was raised on his family's cognac vineyard in France and began his culinary career as an apprentice chef in Cognac at age 15, according to the bistro's website.
The establishment has become known for traditional and seasonal French fare alongside distinctive bakery offerings in Old Town Fort Collins. Chef de Cuisine Jonathan Bonne leads the kitchen operations at the bistro.
Colorado restaurants may legally serve alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption between 7 a.m. and 2 a.m. daily under state liquor laws, according to the Colorado Department of Revenue Liquor Enforcement Division. Happy hour promotions are permitted under Colorado law provided pricing is clearly advertised and does not encourage irresponsible consumption or target underage individuals.
Fort Collins municipal code does not impose additional restrictions on happy hour duration or scheduling beyond state regulations.
Philippe French Bistro is located in Old Town Fort Collins at 152 S College Ave.
