Lima Coffee Roasters will host a pet adoption event November 15 at its Midtown location in partnership with All Aboard Animal Rescue, offering residents an opportunity to meet adoptable dogs while enjoying coffee.

The event will take place on the Midtown lawn from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lima Coffee Roasters' location at 4229 S Mason St.

All Aboard Animal Rescue, a nonprofit animal shelter dedicated to rescuing and rehoming homeless pets in Northern Colorado, will bring adoptable dogs to the event. The organization focuses on rehabilitation and rehoming efforts as part of its mission to address pet overpopulation in the region.

Lima Coffee Roasters, established in 2015, operates two locations in Fort Collins and has become known for community engagement through partnerships with local organizations. The Midtown location serves as both a retail café and roasting facility, featuring a 1932 German-built Probat roaster.

All Aboard Animal Rescue regularly hosts community adoption events throughout Larimer County, providing opportunities for residents to meet animals in need of permanent homes. The organization works primarily with dogs and cats, offering necessary care and socialization to prepare animals for adoption.

The café will remain open during the adoption event, allowing attendees to purchase coffee and other beverages while meeting the animals.

Those interested in adopting can visit the event without prior registration. Potential adopters should be prepared to discuss their living situation and experience with pets as part of the adoption process.
