Starry Night Espresso Cafe in Old Town Fort Collins will maintain extended operating hours during several upcoming holiday events, the business announced November 6.

The cafe will remain open before, during, and after Fort Collins' Downtown Holiday Lighting Ceremony on November 7. The annual lighting ceremony, coordinated by the City of Fort Collins in partnership with the Downtown Development Authority, begins at 5:30 pm with live music, followed by the lighting countdown at approximately 6:30 pm, according to the City of Fort Collins Parks Department.

The lighting ceremony marks the beginning of Fort Collins' winter season, with thousands of LED lights illuminating 22 blocks of downtown through Valentine's Day.

For Thanksgiving Day, November 28, Starry Night will operate from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm to serve participants and spectators of the Fort Collins Thanksgiving Day Run. The 32nd annual race, organized by the Fort Collins Running Club and Fort Collins Thanksgiving Day Run Foundation, begins at 9:00 am in Old Town Square and follows a 4-mile route through downtown Fort Collins.

The event typically draws several thousand runners and functions as a major fundraiser for local charities, including the Food Bank for Larimer County.

The cafe will also maintain regular hours during Black Friday and Small Business Saturday shopping days to accommodate holiday shoppers in the downtown district.

Starry Night Espresso Cafe is located in Old Town Fort Collins at the intersection of Mountain Avenue and College Avenue.
