Wipfli Accounting Firm Expands into New Suite at Fort Collins Preston Center
Wipfli, a national accounting and consulting firm, is finalizing interior construction on a new office suite at Preston Center along East Harmony Road in Fort Collins, according to a commercial building permit filed with the city.
The project involves subdividing the east portion of the second floor at 2809 E Harmony Road to create Suite 210, where Wipfli will occupy the newly configured space. The work includes removing existing interior partitions, light fixtures and mechanical systems, then installing a new demising wall to separate the suite from adjacent office space.
Construction also includes adding a new tenant corridor connecting to the existing east stairwell and updating break room facilities. The space will maintain its Group B occupancy classification for general office use.
Brinkman Capital, which owns Preston Center, filed the permit application through applicant Ryan Eisenbraun. The contractor has not yet been announced in permit records.
Preston Center is a three-story professional office building comprising approximately 57,000 square feet along the Harmony Corridor, one of southeast Fort Collins' primary commercial districts. The building sits across from Front Range Village shopping center between Ziegler Road and Timberline Road, providing direct access to the Interstate 25 corridor.
Current tenants at Preston Center include MKP Law in Suite 100 and Everitt Construction in Suite 310, according to commercial leasing information from CBRE. Brinkman Capital acquired the property from an affiliate of LNR Partners LLC in recent years.
Wipfli operates over 60 offices nationwide and ranks among the top 20 accounting and consulting firms in the United States. Founded in Wisconsin in the 1930s, the firm provides audit and assurance services, tax planning and compliance, outsourced accounting, business consulting, and specialized support for industries including insurance, financial services, manufacturing and nonprofit organizations.
The Harmony Road corridor continues attracting professional service firms and office tenants due to its visibility, accessibility and proximity to both residential neighborhoods and regional transportation infrastructure. The commercial district includes a concentration of office developments, retail centers, restaurants and service businesses serving Fort Collins' growing southeast quadrant.
