Via Mobility assists people 60 or older and people with disabilities with rides to medical appointments, places such as the grocery store, and visits with family and friends. People seeking a ride must meet eligibility requirements and schedule it seven days in advance through Via Mobility's reservation system.

The service is available in unincorporated Weld County and a growing number of municipalities, including:

  • Ault
  • Dacono
  • Firestone
  • Fort Lupton
  • Frederick
  • Gilcrest
  • Hudson
  • Johnstown
  • Keenesburg
  • Kersey
  • LaSalle
  • Milliken
  • Nunn
  • Platteville

The on-demand transit service launched in 2023 and has been contracted through Via Mobility. As of March of this year, Via Mobility had given more than 7,000 rides to over 200 people registered with the service.

"This funding will help our older adults and those with disabilities maintain independence and get them where they need to go safely," said Scott James, Weld County Commissioner Chair.
