AXIS Academy’s new permanent Fort Collins campus to open Nov. 6
The free public charter serves students from Pre-K through fifth grade. Its program combines academics with Spanish, French and Mandarin immersion, according to the Governor’s Office.
AXIS International Academy is set to open its new permanent Fort Collins campus Nov. 6, after Gov. Jared Polis previewed it Oct. 27.
Polis said AXIS is a free public charter school and is now able to serve more students and help them become fluent in Spanish, French or Mandarin. “It’s wonderful to see how this new campus will help more students learn across languages and cultures.”
AXIS International Academy opened in 2019 and serves students from Pre-K through fifth grade. The Governor’s Office describes its program as combining academics with Spanish, French and Mandarin immersion, and developing students’ cross-cultural, social-emotional and cognitive skills.
