Cancer center would include 367 parking spaces

From the Windsor Town Board meeting of

The proposed Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center would provide outpatient infusion, imaging, radiation oncology and consultation services, with laboratory, pharmacy and other support areas, on a 657,483-square-foot (about 15.09-acre) site zoned Limited Industrial in Windsor. The three-story building would have 40,809 square feet on the ground floor and 24,869 on each upper floor. It would rise 45 feet to the roof, 50 feet with the mechanical screen and 56 feet with the lantern structure. The plan would include 367 parking spaces: 351 standard, seven accessible, one accessible electric-vehicle space and eight standard electric-vehicle spaces, plus five bicycle racks with 10 spaces. The plan lists 407,002 square feet (61.9% of the site) for landscape and open space, and 109,719 square feet (16.7%) as undeveloped. Areas designated as open space would remain undeveloped, and permanent structures there would require the Town Manager’s prior written consent. The resubmission removes Oakmont Street and related site and utility work until a future phase, and revises parking, detention basins and exterior elevations.
