Carbon Valley Veterans Wall of Honor ceremony canceled
The city said roundabout construction on Colorado Boulevard limited access. Eligible veterans’ names are still set to be engraved in 2026 and formally recognized at the 2027 ceremony.
The Carbon Valley Veterans Wall of Honor ceremony scheduled for Nov. 8 has been canceled, the City of Dacono said.
It was scheduled for 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 8. Ongoing roundabout construction on Colorado Boulevard limited access, prompting the cancellation, the city said. The notice also expressed disappointment that “we will not gather this year.” It thanked the community for its understanding.
All eligible veterans’ names will be engraved on the Wall of Honor in 2026 and formally recognized during the 2027 ceremony.
