County accepts conservation easement

Larimer County accepted Estes Valley Land Trust’s assignment of a conservation easement covering approximately 146.5 acres. The county assumes the easement grantee’s rights and responsibilities, including managing, monitoring, documenting and enforcing its terms; the trust will perform the grantor’s obligations after it becomes the property’s fee owner.
