Dacono police invite residents to prescription drug take-back Saturday

Unused or expired prescription medications can be dropped off from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 512 Cherry Ave. The department says safe disposal helps keep them out of the wrong hands.

The Dacono Police Department is inviting residents to bring unused or expired prescription medications for safe disposal during the DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, Oct. 24.

Residents can bring medications from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Dacono Police Department, 512 Cherry Ave., Dacono.

Clearing out unused medications helps keep them from falling into the wrong hands and helps protect families and the community, the department said. More information is available on the DEA National Prescription Drug Take Back Day webpage.
