County approves veterans grant MOU

The county approved the memorandum of understanding for one-stop service delivery under the Jobs for Veterans State Grant. A speaker said the MOU continues an arrangement from past years through the Department of Labor and Employment; a couple of state employees are housed in Weld County as part of the team, and some infrastructure funding comes from outside the MOU. The speaker said they would like to continue the MOU and remain in compliance with the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act.
