Board accepts $15,000 grant terms

The board accepted the purchase-order terms for $15,000 in 2026-2027 Preventative Block Grant funds and authorized the Department of Public Health and Environment to disburse them for Community Health Improvement Plan work on mental health, including social-connection initiatives and mental-health training. Cheshire said grants this small have no contract and that accepting the purchase order is sufficient. She said the purchase order was presented to the board in a pass-around on October 12th.
