Southridge golf contract would extend a year
The ordinance would authorize a one-year extension of DMAC Golf’s professional-services agreement at Southridge Golf Course beginning Feb. 1, 2027, and would take effect Nov. 13, 2026. The proposed agreement would run through Jan. 31, 2028, and renew automatically for one additional year unless DMAC is in default beyond a cure period or either party gives written termination notice at least 10 days before renewal. DMAC would receive 11.0% of annual gross revenue the City receives from greens fees, cart rentals and the driving range. Its year-one monthly installment would be $10,781, paid in advance and based on the five-year average of course revenue from those sources, less 5%; the agreement would require annual reconciliation against actual revenue, with the City paying shortfalls by the first Friday of February and DMAC repaying overpayments within 30 days of notice. DMAC would retain income from pro shop operations, merchandise, lessons, tournament fees, pull-cart rentals, club repairs and its equipment rentals; the City would pay utilities and maintain the concession space and City equipment.
