Collindale golf contract would extend one year

The ordinance would authorize a one-year extension of Vince Buelk’s agreement to provide professional golf services at Collindale Golf Course, beginning Feb. 1, 2027. The agreement would run through Jan. 31, 2028, and automatically renew for one additional year unless Buelk is in default beyond any applicable cure period or either party gives written termination notice at least 10 days before renewal. Under the revised agreement, Buelk would receive 11.0 percent of the City’s annual gross revenue from greens fees, cart rentals and the driving range. Year-one monthly advances would be $10,781, with an annual reconciliation against actual revenue. The staff summary says service levels would not change and the financial impact to the Golf Enterprise Fund would remain largely unchanged.
