Requests for tree planting funding

From the Johnstown Town Council meeting of

A speaker raised requests for tree planting during public comment.

The speaker asked the town to budget for replacing four dead trees along Hawthorne Avenue and for planting trees along Silverbell, which the speaker said had been promised last year but never planted. Michael Duncan said the town had just held its Arbor Day planting and asked Matt whether the town could take care of the requests. Another speaker recalled that last year’s request was specifically for trees in the park and said the town could see whether it could accommodate additional trees on Silver Bell.
