Dacono car show requires Homyak School donation for entry

Guests are encouraged to bring school supplies or money. Contributions are intended to support classroom resources and activities, including Teacher Appreciation Week and the eighth-grade class trip.

Admission to the Dacono Community Car Show on Nov. 8 is free, but attendees must donate to Homyak School to enter, the City of Dacono said.

Colorado National Speedway is hosting the show at its Dacono location, the city said. It runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8. Attendees must make a donation to enter and are encouraged to give school supplies or money.

The show is being held in partnership with Homyak School and aims to collect supplies and donations for local students, teachers and educational programs for the upcoming school year, the city said. Donations are intended for classroom resources and school activities, including Teacher Appreciation Week and the eighth-grade class trip, as well as other student needs. “Every contribution helps provide valuable resources and opportunities for local students.” More information is available at coloradospeedway.com.
