Berthoud-based Ursa Major promotes Jason Meredith to president
He will oversee business execution and the company’s full profit and loss. Ursa Major says it is scaling production of long-range and hypersonics missiles, solid rocket motors and space mobility offerings as it prepares to become publicly traded.
Berthoud-based Ursa Major promoted Jason Meredith to president, the company announced Oct. 13.
Meredith will lead business execution across Ursa Major and oversee the company’s full profit and loss. “Jason has the experience and leadership to bring this next phase of Ursa Major to life,” said CEO Chris Spagnoletti. Meredith most recently served as president of Solid Missile Systems, where he led program execution and engineering across the company’s growing solid rocket motor portfolio. He has more than two decades of aerospace, defense and solid propulsion experience, including senior engineering, program and business leadership roles at ATK, Orbital ATK, Northrop Grumman and Pratt & Whitney.
Ursa Major says it is continuing to scale production across its long-range and hypersonics missiles, solid rocket motors and space mobility businesses. The company is preparing to become publicly traded.
