Things to do Sunday in Northern Colorado: a fall festival, an art studio tour and a carnival

In Estes Park, visitors can paint mountain contours and fingerprint stars on a community mural or hear a ranger’s alpine stories. The Beths appear with Chelsea Jade in Fort Collins.

FoCo Fall Fest brings a street festival to Fort Collins on Sunday, and artists open their studios for the Loveland Art Studio Tour. Greeley’s Fall Carnival and Resource Fair has games and pumpkin painting Sunday.

Sunday, Oct. 11

  • All day FoCo Fall Fest — The street festival has local makers, food, craft beverages, live music, kids’ activities and fall-themed experiences. Old Town Square, Fort Collins; Free.

  • 11 a.m.-5 p.m. 18th Annual Loveland Art Studio Tour — Artists open their studios to share their workspaces and talk about their processes; visitors can also buy art directly from them. Loveland Colorado.

  • 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Community Mural Project — Participants can paint contour lines on the mural’s mountain layers and add fingerprint stars to its sky. Estes Park Mountain Shop; Free; For kids and families.

  • 1-3 p.m. Fall Carnival and Resource Fair — This adaptive and inclusive recreation event for all ages has games, challenges and pumpkin painting. Family FunPlex, Greeley.

  • 2-3:30 p.m. Animal Farm: America staged reading — A staged reading premieres an original musical comedy and political satire inspired by George Orwell’s *Animal Farm*. The Lyric, Fort Collins; Free for students with ID; $10 donation requested for others.

  • 2-4 p.m. All My Sons — Arthur Miller’s drama follows a family as long-buried secrets surface. Norton Theatre, Greeley; $5 – $24.

  • 2-3 p.m. Project Pop Up: FOCO Flava Dance Cypher at Balanced Movement — FOCO Flava brings a hip-hop dance cypher to Greeley. Balanced Movement, Greeley; $15.

  • 3-3:30 p.m. High Country Tales — A park ranger shares stories about how humans and wildlife interact with the alpine world. Alpine Visitor Center, Estes Park; Free.

  • 7 p.m. The Beths with Chelsea Jade — New Zealand indie-rock band The Beths appears with Chelsea Jade. Washington’s, Fort Collins; $29.26.
