Fort Collins firm to join Ascentis with three other advisory teams
The practices are bringing more than $1 billion in client assets from Raymond James, which will remain their primary custodian. Ascentis says the figures were supplied by the practices and have not been independently verified.
Ascentis Independent Advisors announced Oct. 8 that Capital Waypoint, Citrus Wealth Management, Fort Collins-based IMPACT Financial Strategies and Rooted Wealth Management are joining it from Raymond James Financial Services with more than $1 billion in client assets.
IMPACT Financial Strategies is joining with approximately $303 million in client assets as of Sept. 15, 2026, and is based in Fort Collins, Colorado. Ascentis said the asset figures for the transitioning practices are based on information provided by the practices and have not been independently verified.
The four practices have worked together as a unified Raymond James branch since 2022 and bring decades of experience serving clients through retirement, business transitions and other important financial decisions, Ascentis said. They will continue to use Raymond James as their primary custodian. The practices operate under their own names and share similar planning and client service processes, which provide a common foundation for their transition to Ascentis Independent Advisors.
The teams chose Ascentis Independent Advisors to expand the planning capabilities, investment solutions and service resources available to their clients, the release said. “Through Ascentis Independent Advisors, these teams can access deeper planning and investment resources, along with operational support designed to give them more time for their clients,” Michael Mansur said. Ascentis Independent Advisors provides affiliation and support for independent practices in operations, compliance, technology, marketing and transitions, Ascentis said. Advisors can also access expanded planning resources and investment capabilities through the broader Ascentis Holdings organization, including resources available through Ascentis Asset Management.
