Who is eligible to vote in Weld County?

To register, you must meet these requirements:

  • Be a United States citizen.
  • Be a Colorado resident for 22 days or more.
  • Be at least 15 years old. Fifteen-year-olds can preregister and may cast a ballot if they will be 18 on or before Election Day.
  • Complete all fields marked “REQUIRED,” including your complete address and apartment or unit number.

How do I register or update my voter registration in Weld County?

If you have a Colorado State driver’s license or ID card issued by the Department of Revenue, you can register online at govotecolorado.gov. Registered voters can also change their address or party affiliation on their current registration there.

If you have not been issued a Colorado driver’s license or ID card, you can use a paper voter-registration form. Weld County provides forms in English and Spanish. Print and sign the form before returning it. You can return a signed form by:
