Partial lane closures planned on a Mountain View Boulevard stretch through Nov. 17

The Town has scheduled partial weekday lane closures on Mountain View Boulevard between Ridgeview Drive/Fairway Pointe Drive and Village Vista Drive from Oct. 13 through Nov. 17 for six water-valve replacements.

A Town contractor will begin replacing six water valves on Mountain View Boulevard between Ridgeview Drive/Fairway Pointe Drive and Village Vista Drive Tuesday, Oct. 13. Partial lane closures are scheduled Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., through Nov. 17.

Mountain View Boulevard will remain open throughout the project. Drivers should plan for delays and use caution near work crews, especially around Black Rock Elementary during school drop-off and pick-up, the Town said. Work is expected to be complete by Tuesday, Nov. 17, weather permitting. Some water customers may experience temporary service shutoffs, and affected customers will be notified individually within 48 hours of a scheduled shutoff.

The valve replacements are being completed ahead of the milling and paving project currently underway in Vista Ridge, the Town said.
