Mayor Emily Francis proclaimed October 15, 2026, as Imagine A Day Without Water Day on October 6, 2026. Fort Collins Utilities serves treated water to over 135,000 customers and has over 500 miles of water mains, a large water treatment facility and two wastewater treatment facilities.
